Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.



Protection of Customer Funds

California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. Into the Okavango has a bond issued by Westfield National Insurance Company in the amount of $100,000.

This protection should not be considered a substitute for comprehensive personal travel insurance.



California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund

Into the Okavango participates in the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF).

TCRF protection depends in part on where the passenger is located when payment is made.

For qualifying purchases made by passengers located in California, the Fund may provide restitution for certain eligible losses, subject to its statutory requirements, limits and claim procedures.

Transactions where the passenger is located outside California at the time of payment are not covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.

Full TCRF information applicable to your booking will be provided in your Booking Terms & Conditions and booking documentation before payment.



Cancellation, Refunds & Travel Insurance

The cancellation and refund conditions applicable to your trip are set out clearly in your quotation and Booking Terms & Conditions.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance from the time your booking is confirmed, including appropriate cancellation, medical, evacuation, repatriation and safari-activity coverage.
