â€Ĥthoughtfully orchestratedâ€Ĥ

"I traveled with Into the Okavango on 3 varied adventures during the month of July. Every aspect of our visit was thoughtfully orchestrated with game drives and walking tours. We were even able to do a mokoro boat ride. The amenities were rustic yet comfortable with tents and private adjacent bathroom set ups. All meals and beverages were included. Leaving nothing for me to consider or be concerned with. Felt totally pampered and was able to absorb the beauty and wonder of Botswana."

Mike and his team took care of everythingâ€Ĥ

"In the summer of 2023 my wife and I traveled with Mike Lanigan to Makgadikgadi Salt Pans and to Khwai Conservation area in the Okavango Delta.  We headquartered in Maun, Botswana.  From the planning stages to the final sad farewell from Africa,we were overjoyed with the experience.  Mike and his team took care of everything in a style that exceeded all our expectations.  The campsites were beautiful and well maintained.  We were amazed at the quality of the food and even more amazed with the game drives.  The animal viewing and guiding surpassed our expectations!  The entire trip was a once in a lifetime experience of which, it can truly be said, "once is not enough."

â€Ĥhighly organized and comfortableâ€Ĥ

"We had a wonderful trip in Botswana with Into the Okavango which provided a highly organized and comfortable camping safari. From cuisine, walking safari to warm showers out in the open everything was made to create a very special experience and unforgettable memories. We enjoyed the deep knowledge coming from our guides, always happy to help and share their passion. We hope to book again and very soon!"

â€Ĥit was superb.

"I would just like to thank Mike and his people for hosting another outstanding trip away to Botswana. This time, outside of the limelight of the lodges, which are great, we went camping with a mixed group of people from all over the world. Some might say this is risky but if we had a time lapse video of our interactions you would have seen a group of people interacting and building life connections. It's not hard to go wrong with Botswana and what it has to offer, but the organising, the attention to detail and the raw experience of being in the wild was so special. We saw lots, we ate lots and we shared many many stories. More than anything we connected. Thanks Mike it was superb."

â€Ĥan extraordinary adventure!

"Our Botswana Safari with Into the Okavango Company was truly the experience of a lifetime for my husband and me. Our 2-week adventure was broken into 3 separate safaris. The first was a land safari into Khwai Community & Chobe National Park (5 days); the second was a boat trip down the Okavango Delta (2 days) and the third was a stay at Oddballs Enclave Camp (3 days). Each trip offered a diversity of experiences and sightings of such an extensive list of large & small mammals, reptiles, birds and fauna. Michael’s ability to spot wildlife was incredible and we enjoyed learning about the wildlife behavior and their surrounding environments.

All our guides went above and beyond, from the camp setups to the delicious meals they prepared for us daily-even fresh baked bread! They made every member of group feel welcome and cared for, paying attention to every detail. Their storytelling, sense of humor and knowledge made each experience even more meaningful.

Into the Okavango arranged stays in Maun in between each “trip”. This gave us a chance to regroup while visiting a variety of local safari lodges, experiencing the local culture in Maun. They also arranged a visit to Elephant Haven, an absolutely must see if you have some time to spend in Maun.

If you are fortunate enough to be able to book a safari with Into the Okavango Company, you are in for an extraordinary adventure! My husband and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you for giving us memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We are hoping we can return one day to Botswana to experience another safari with you Michael!"

â€Ĥa most memorable experience.

"Diversity in safaris. We experienced the bush via vehicle, via water and via a cozy lodge called the Enclave. Here we secured the entire lodge making it a very private experience. We also rode in mokoros to an island where we did walking safaris. On each safari, we had amazing cooks. The meals were delicious and plentiful. We star gazed and listened to wildlife at night. Each safari provided a different tent and ensuite set-up. Back in Maun, we stayed in nice lodges in between safaris. Private plane rides and an elephant haven experience topped it off. Greg and I had a most memorable experience. Thank you Michael you were a superb host with sun downer experiences every night!!"
